Coraline

Coraline: One of my new favorite movies. Kind of scary, actually! I went to the movie with David's sister Stephanie, and we both really liked it. It was fun to watch it in 3D, too.

Animation, pro-family stance, and music all impressed me.

Can't catch up with the time . . .

Time is just going really fast. We are barely managing to stay up with all the holidays and events that are going on . . .
P.F. Chang's to celebrate Valentine's Day in March. Sooooo yummy.

On an outing with the Yates in Park City. Included shopping, great food, swimming, and karaoke. We went to the Draper Temple Open House (the night before it was dedicated). BEAUTIFUL.

Hiking Ensign Peak one Saturday. On this day, the snow was just melting, which made for a really muddy hike, but beautiful weather. We are going to miss SLC a Lot.

We went to "All Shook Up" at the Hale Center Theatre in Orem with my family and laughed really hard. It is Shakespeare's Twelfth Night starring Elvis.

LDS conference was amazing. I finished my 1500 piece puzzle I got from Dave's mother for Christmas while listening.

One of my last days of student teaching meant putting in a few final grades before I left. I'm all done now--Hip hip hooray! If you know anyone in SLC that needs a substitute until May, let me know!
David narrowly misses the devastating sprays from fountains as he maneuvers through the plaza at The Gateway! He was shopping for me for Easter. I helped him pick out what I wanted--an aluminum water bottle, switching from my plastic one. I have heard the debate for and against plastic water bottles for so long, I finally decided to just play it safe and get a metal one.
On Easter: David getting excited for our piano-to-come, playing "Pirates of the Caribbean" while I dye eggs. Easter: we also hunted for easter baskets (I gave Dave a chess set, and he gave me the aluminum water bottle; we also gave Grandpa a basket full of Snickers), went for a picnic, and ate dinner at the Yates'.

Funny story about the picnic: the ducks are gone from the pond! We were afraid they were run out by the millions of seagulls that now inhabit the place. We took some old bread to feed the ducks, but found that the seagulls also appreciated a tasty morsel or two. They are actually quite zealous, in fact. You'd through out a crumb, and a "feeding frenzy" not unlike that of sharks would soon follow. Well, while we were tossing out the bread, we innevitably got surrounded on all sides with gulls, including overhead, like so:
It so happened that David's clothes became intimately acquainted with the end process of seagull consumption (aka poopy doop.) We left soon after.
