December

Above: Annie's preschool went to a Christmas tree farm to pick out a tree for their classroom.  David got to go.  Below: the RS hosted the ward's Christmas party=breakfast with Santa.  I didn't do a whole lot but it was still nice to have over with.  It turned out great.

Annie had a Christmas recital the same night as the ward party, so David went to that.  She has done so well in dance this year!  We love our little Annie.

Above: I took the kids swimming one Monday afternoon--BAD idea.  The water was freezing, the temperature outside was freezing, I was parked far away and very pregnant trying to carry kids out with no shoes on... and very limited hot water when we got back so it was just overall bad.  Below = Annie and Julie's Teddy Bear picnic with Miss Meghan.  They love music class!

I recorded some Christmas music with friends!  It was fun and a great experience.

Julie LOVES stuffed animals.  Gets very attached to them and then switches to a new one.  When we went to UT for Christmas break, she found a dalmation at Grandma Jo's and took that with her EVERYWHERE--on sleds, to bed, to Aunt Michelle's wedding, etc.

Annie's Christmas party at preschool!  It was fun to hear her sing Christmas music and eat treats/open gifts from classmates.  She is good friends with Quinn Willis.

Happy 7th Birthday, Kate!! We had candles on pancakes, opened presents, before we left to go on our Christmas vacation.  Kate got an art table, art supplies, new clothes, and a hamster cage (TBD).

In Idaho, David took the kids skiing at Pomerelle, and then they went skiing again in UT with Lee.  Kate and Mason picked it up pretty quickly and they did awesome!  They never complained about being cold or hungry.

Merry Christmas 2018!  The kids had fun sleeping at Grandma and Grandpa Harper's house, playing with cousins, playing in the snow.  I only brought Christmas presents to fit in stockings. My parents got called to serve in Sierra Leone for three years--wow!

Michelle's wedding, December 28, 2018.

I took Annie and Julie to a Treehouse Children's museum with Brooke and her kids--they had a blast.  Ate at Chick-fil-a afterwards.

We all felt exhausted after the trip! We came back, unpacked, cleaned, put away Christmas, celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary (ate at Piropos).  David took Mason skiing again here in MO.  He is getting fast! Kids went back to school this past Tuesday.
