June

In June, we enjoyed summer creatures: frogs and baby birds in a nest on our front porch.

Happy Father's Day and Happy Birthday for David!  We made an oreo cake for his birthday, and did a candy bar poster for Father's Day.  We also got a head start on fireworks, since they are David's favorite.

June was a hard month for our nation.  We mourned with the black community for the loss of George Floyd.  We went to a Black Lives Matter event downtown, and walked around the art museum afterwards.  We also reached out to our neighbors who are police officers and they did a great thank-you in return.

Reading books.  Tried to go on a bike ride next to the river, but it was pretty drizzly.  I love this new family wall we have in our house.  I love seeing our ancestors.  We had neighbors give us an old bike trailer, and Grant has really liked it.  We've been going roller skating/blading with the kids.  Annie lost her first tooth!!
