September

Julie and Annie got to go to their friends' farm.  Fun afternoon!  Grant is getting really good at his strider bike and loves to go on walks.

For Labor Day, we did the temple run.  All the kids did a race!  All the kids had well checks, and Mason had a bad reaction to his shot, but he recovered well.

Liberty Fall Festival!  Kate entered the chalk drawing competition, and the rest of us enjoyed seeing the booths, games, and trying out the food.  We also went to the KC Art festival, but it was too crowded and smoky.

We went to the Fun Farm and enjoyed the corn pit, giant slides, corn maze, pumpkin patch, and pumpkin slushies.  We went with our friends Jack and Sam.

I am doing a police class every Tuesday night; it's been really interesting!  I made meatloaf from Jim Rasmussen's recipe.

Annie and Julie had a "tea party" with some friends; Grant thought it was pretty tasty, too!

Julie's soccer team!  She had a great time.  I took Grant to see the trains at Union Station and he loved it.

Julie learned how to ride her bike without training wheels!  Kate is still baking cakes.

David went to the US Open, and also visited his BYU friends in Las Vegas.  Here's me and the kids at church without Dad.

Our neighbor Katie made Julie a school t-shirt.

Getting yogurtini with the kids for a Saturday well done with Annie's taekwondo and the other kids' soccer.

Last weekend of swimming!

We also went to the Renaissance Festival; it was very crowded.  And doing Come Follow Me lessons on Sundays; this lesson was something about rabbits?
