Julie got nominated for a Hope award, which is a very big honor for the school district. We got pizza afterward to celebrate. Kate went to her friend Layla's Mary Poppins musical.
Grant is doing awesome in soccer, he finished off his Let's Play Music year with an impressive recital, and we got ice cream afterwards. We're so proud of him!
Kate had another tournament in Lawrence, and her teammates exchanged ugly t-shirts, David took Julie and her friends out for a late birthday party.
Annie did a great job as part of the ensemble in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat for the middle school! We loved it so much!
Claire, Kate and I went to New York and Boston. We went to the Harry Potter play (the Cursed Child), Central Park, did some shopping, and then cheered Kate on for her marathon on Monday in Boston. It was a great trip!
Kate and I went on a fun road trip to Nebraska for her to play in a volleyball tournament with her team. We played some tough Nebraska teams but we swung by Omaha on our way home to see our hold stomping grounds and see the Lauritzen Gardens, which were beautiful.
My parents came to visit over the weekend. We had so much fun doing school and sports activities together! We love it when Grandparents come to visit.
