This Month has been awesome. We started it all off with celebrating Cinco de Mayo with the Blacks--complete with a pinata in the shape of a ship to celebrate the sinking of the Mayonnaise so long ago. We also got a new car! It was Perfect Timing, because old Gold Spike got pretty jealous and stopped cooperating on the way home. The car had just enough things wrong with it (kinda dirty, cracked windshield, broken back fender, shakes) that we could afford it. But after a make-over, it is quite a beaut! Last weekend, we went camping in American Fork. It was our first camping trip together and it was Perfect. Great weather, great food (we had tin-foil dinners), great s'mores, and the perfect spot--right next to the river and "awaaay from it all." Also, for Mother's Day, David surprised me one morning with the kitchen all decorated and a present for me--Dominoes! We played six games and I won five and we tied one. For the weekend, we went to Idaho and spent time with the Harpers--it was great to see everyone. We also got our carpets cleaned :)
Camping! I pitched the tent and cooked our dinner while David took a scenic drive around the mountains. We slept next to a Scout Campout, but they were actually pretty good.

David is the most amazing husband! I'm not even a mom yet and so he really surprised me with all the hoop-hah of Mother's Day! It was great.

Nice car! I'm sure going to miss the Gold Spike though...
You guys are fun(ny). Soooo we should go camping together sometime. I know some grrreat spots. Jane loves the outdoors. She can't get enough of it. We are headed to the desert this weekend for some backpackin'. See you guys soon!
What a good mothers day. He better cool it or he'll have a lot to live up to when you are a mom! Good job on finding such a fine automobile.
We are kinda late at commenting, but we LOVE your camping pics. Some of our best memories are of camping trips.
