Easter stragglers and Trip for Ellie

A few last pictures of Easter:

We got to visit the Easter bunny at Worlds of Fun.  It was funny; at one point the photographer told the kids, "Okay now give the Easter Bunny a hug!" and Mason and Kate both leaned away from the bunny, like "Stranger Danger--I don't think so!"

We went back to ID/UT for Brooke and Brighton's baby's blessing.  My favorite part was getting to hold her for part of the afternoon of the Sunday when we were having a meal at David's parents house with all the family/guests.  She is a champion snuggler.

Yates' Stay-cation
On Monday, we went to a park for games and a picnic and the kids fed goats.

David and Brighton won their game, thanks to these incredible skills!!

  Boondocks

 Bee's game

 Visit to the Harper's

Mason got the biggest kick out of using Grandma's apple peeler and we had apples for every meal.

Boise trip to see Devin and Claire's new house, where Garrett is doing his internship, and where Devin works.  Stayed at a fun hotel and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and weather.

I went running a few times in ID--really enjoyed the scenery and quiet.

We had another Easter egg hunt with the Harper cousins--Kate just kind of waltzed through it all wanting to hold Wynnie's hand the whole time, and Mason was trailing Ivy and was about 2 seconds too late to find many eggs :) Good times were had by all.

Back safe and sound.  Traveling with even one kids requires a lot of extra baggage!  Annie was WONDERFUL on the flights--she slept 90% of the time.  Mason was great, too, even when he had to sit next to strangers.

Since we've been home:

Annie is 6 months old! Went in to her well-check and got shots and she is in the 75% for just about everything.  She can roll over, has started eating oatmeal (and I probably shouldn't but I give her just little tastes of things she looks interested in, like smoothies or soups) and her bottom teeth are starting to come in because her gums look a little puffy.

David's work had an office party at a place called Dave and Buster's and it was a lot of fun.  We went to a location about 30 minutes west of where we live, and we were there for a few hours.  During that time a big storm with funnel clouds and hail the size of golf balls rolled through our neighborhoods; I was glad we missed it!
