July

We went to the Liberty Jail's visitor's center at the beginning of July.  On the way out, we were watching the clouds form for a storm and I was wondering if they were swirling in a funnel-cloud-type formation.  The ensuing storm resulted in a few tornadoes around and lightening storms that took out power in a few neighborhoods.

Worlds of Fun

 Steelhawk.  So scary!!
Ready to catch some train robbers!

Declo
The Harpers had a reunion for a few days in July.  It was great to see everyone and the kids had a blast playing with their cousins.  Highlights: playing at the river (kids especially loved the sandy beach), eating raspberries and green peas from the garden, a treasure hunt that led to an inflatable jump toy, family feud, Declo Days, and all the good eating.
We visited the Yates' the next week but all those pictures are on David's phone so I will do a post about it next month.

Annie learned how to sit by herself and eat from a spoon while we were in ID.

Hey MOM watch this!

Fourth of July: we went to Blue Springs Lake and the kids loved playing with the sand and the water.  We planned to watch fireworks that night, but the kids were so tired after the beach we put them to bed early and David and I watched the second Hunger Games movie.

Here is a shot of Annie and Kate when they were about the same age in the same outfit.
They each have their own look for sure!  Ann is definitely a Yates baby!

Last night the kids went to a birthday party--we are going to miss all these neighbors and friends when we move 10 minutes north and out of the ward!
