February

At the beginning of February, I found cheap plane tickets to UT and decided to go visit family with Annie and Julie.  It worked out great, because my cousin Emily got married on the same day I flew in, so I got to go and see a lot of family.  We also had fun visiting Devin and Claire's new house, Grandma Vonda (where Annie tried and got hooked on delicious roast beef!), and just playing at Grandma's house.  Poor Mason and Kate got the flu while we were gone, and stayed home from school for a week.  The house was getting painted at the same time, so David was trying to take care of the kids and was shut out of most of the house and he had to have his partner cover work for him so he could stay home and watch the kids.  But it was great to see family and Annie and Julie had so much fun bringing their own suitcases and were great travelers!

Mason lost his two front teeth!  They are slowly growing back in.

 We got a heart shaped pizza, sparkling cider, and had a lovely evening.

Happy 8th Birthday, Mason!

 Mason had a few friends over, had a Mario themed party, and we did cake, presents, pinata, and they played Mario Kart.  He is such a great brother!  I went to parent teacher conference on Monday and he is doing great in school--he's learning all the subjects and has great behavior.  He finished up playing winter basketball and I'm going to be his coach for spring soccer.
