Mason's baptism! We were so excited and happy for this big life moment. We had lots of family travel a long ways to be there with us, and we had a lot of neighbors and friends here come support Mason, too. It was a really special day. It was so fun to have a lot of family staying at our house with us! Mason is such a great kid. We are so proud of him.
Julie's 2nd Birthday!
Julie is a sweet sweet girl. She was so excited to get a scooter so she could keep up with Annie. We had a fun day for her birthday, including going to Chuck e cheese, taking grandma harper to the airport, opening presents, making and eating a yummy cake. She went to her 2-year well-check with the doctor a few weeks ago and is doing great. She is a little constipated, so we have to stay on top of that, and the doctor recommended we loose her binky so she talks more. The last few weeks, we have taken her binky away, and moved her to sleep in a toddler bed in Annie's room and put Kate in a room by herself. The sleeping arrangement has hiccups sometimes, but overall it works great and the kids are all upstairs in bedrooms now! But Julie has gone through a lot of big steps these last few weeks--she's getting to be a little girl and losing her baby look.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We went on a treasure hunt and wore green clothes. Kids had their first soccer games!I had a screenplay get selected at the UT Film Festival! I got to go at the beginning of April and do all kinds of workshops and shows. It was really educational and inspiring. When we found out about the selection, we went to DQ to celebrate. Writing has done a lot for my stay-at-home-mom nerves.
Kate had her kindergarten music concert--all the songs were themed with bedtime and the kids got to wear their pajamas :) We made a night themed cake afterwards to celebrate
The girls and I went to Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe. It was so good!
Spring Break
= Fun Run, Above All, the zoo, camping
Happy Easter!
We also had general conference. It was really special, because we had a solemn assembly (President Russell M Nelsen is new president, with Elder Gong and Suarez as new apostles), priesthood quorums were dissolved into one unit at the ward level, and ministry replaces home/visiting teaching.
