At the beginning of August, we left for our trip to visit family in UT/ID. We had so much fun seeing family, being in the mountains and dry climate, and going to adventurous places. Mason did have a struggle with a residual rash from poison ivy, and I struggled with the wildfire smoke, but all in all we had a great time. (Start at the bottom of the post for chronological order.)
The Liberty Oaks kids all say their teachers are super nice and they're enjoying school! Kate is doing volleyball with the city and XC with the school, and Mason is doing XC with LHS. High school is a big adjustment but I know Mason will get the hang of it.
I took Annie and a few of her friends (Grant, Clara, and Adam) to Worlds and Oceans of Fun. They had a blast! How it started - how it ended.
First Day of School! Mason is in high school (9th grade), Kate is in 7th, Annie is in 5th, Julie is in 3rd, and Grant is in Kindergarten.

Aspen Grove was a blast--hiking, swimming, playing, meeting new friends, learning, painting, climbing, and eating. Great time.
