After the race, Brooke and I watched the Pioneer Day parade with Grandpa Yates. It was a really hot day, but we found some shade and Grandpa really enjoyed the parade.

Pioneer Day
July 24th is Utah's Pioneer Day. It was my first time celebrating the holiday in Utah, adn it was a lot of fun! Dave and I ran the 5k race through downtown with some of his family, and we had other family members and friends take on the 10k.
After the race, Brooke and I watched the Pioneer Day parade with Grandpa Yates. It was a really hot day, but we found some shade and Grandpa really enjoyed the parade.
