I was able to go to South Africa with ALL my siblings (a miracle in itself) to visit my parents at the end of their mission! Unforgettable memories for a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Grant and Julie had their music recital with Miss Meghan! It was fun to hear them play their songs and reflect on all the great learning they've done this year.
Julie went to a birthday party--she's got great friends. Annie went with me to a wedding reception and we loved sampling the desserts.
Happy Easter! We had a fun Easter egg hunt with our neighborhood and ate Easter dinner with the Sego's. Highlight was getting Zip Strings.
We've had some beautiful spring weather and doing the back patio fire pit is always a hit. The kids have been doing some great school projects!
It was a huge privilege to speak at the Juanita Brooks Historical Conference at the end of the month. I loved listening to the other fascinating topics and meeting people from all over the country. JoLynn and Michelle were so kind to drive from Layton to listen to my presentation, and my mom drove all the way up from Idaho; we got to do a mini girls trip and sleep at the hotel on Utah State University's campus and try a lot of good food there (bread, ice cream bagels...)
